Louisiana State Exhibit Museum
The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum was originally constructed, in 1938, as the Louisiana State Exhibit Building, the largest project funded in Northwest Louisiana by the New Deal Program. The building is a unique architectural style of neoclassical and modern design.The museum boasts four frescoes and has been on the National Historic Register since 1991. The museum serves a community center for cultural heritage exhibiting a permanent collection of Native American artifacts and a diverse selection of traveling exhibitions.
