Oak Knoll Campground is located at New Hogan Lake on the Calaveras River
in the Sierra Foot Hill Region of central California. Water skiers enjoy
excellent skiing along the 50 miles of shoreline, and there is year-round
fishing for stripers, bass, crapple, blue gill, and catfish. A golf course
is 2 miles away from the Campground and a watchable wildlife site where
bald eagles may be viewed is also in the vicinity. Additional amenities
include hot showers, an amphitheater, bike trails, interpretive trails,
boat launch, horse trails, fish cleaning facilities, and an 18 hole frisbe
golf course.
