Strong Museum is one of the nation’s leading hands-on history centers for children and adults alike and is dedicated to learning through interactive learning environments, world-renowned collections, creative programs, and special events.

Strong Museum’s collection of everyday American life and national consumer culture in the 19th and 20th centuries is widely recognized as a national treasure.

The collection also includes clothing, personal accessories, furnishing textiles, prints, paintings, sculptures, photographs, postcards, greeting cards, menus, sheet music, games, and sporting equipment. A 60,000-volume research library supports the collection.

In addition, Strong Museum offers a broad selection of hands-on lessons to complement and extend the classroom program, while engaging the multiple intelligences through which students learn.
